The 2014 Mayor’s Round-Up and Sale of Champions is taking place in Sioux Falls this January.

Hosted by the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Mike Huether will give his annual state of the union address. The event is also set to feature a livestock auction, a cocktail reception, a sit down dinner and an award ceremony. Titles to be handed out include the Farm Family and Agri-Business Citizen of the Year and the $12,000 Supreme Row purse to a livestock producer. There will also be live and silent auctions which will benefit the South Dakota Rancher Relief Fund. The livestock that is being auctioned off is the best of those that appeared at the 2014 Sioux Empire Farm Show; the champions.

This annual event is sure to attract a wide variety of Sioux Falls business leaders, city government representatives and professionals. Many of those attending the round up will likely be placing a new business card printing order before the event takes place. This is to ensure that all of their contact information is correct and up to date. It will also be to make sure there are enough cards to exchange with fellow business peers and government officials.

The Mayor’s Round-Up and Sale of Champions is taking place at the Best Western PLUS Ramkota Hotel on January 24 beginning at 5:30 PM. For more information, such as ticket prices for Chamber members and non-members or to donate items for the auctions, call 605-373-2015.
