The annual Active Living Expo will take place at Active Generations on May 3 from 9am – 2pm. Admission is free, and 60 local businesses and services will be in attendance.

The expo is presented by Active Generations. Their mission is the promotion of positive aging for adults and the enhancement of life quality across the generations. They aim to do this through social events, education, and recreation.

The Active Living Expo will feature two stages with live entertainment, free food, seminars, and door prizes. Topics of the seminars will include health foods, leisure and recreation, health care, positive aging, and insurance. It will be a truly interesting day for the whole community, whether young or old.

Sioux Falls companies who cater to seniors and to the health of all ages will be showing off their products and services. Prior to the event they most likely will contact local printers offering brochure printing to provide those who drop by their booths with literature they can take home with them to read. This will help spread the word about their company to beyond those who attend, to their family members and friends who might read the brochure in the future.

Our population is rapidly aging, baby boomers make up a large part of our population and are reaching their senior years. It only makes sense that many businesses are now competing to provide them with the products and services that they need; there is a lot of money to be made by any company that can provide this group with services they may need.
