Two Hot Head Burritos about to spice up the area

February 4, 2013 by

A couple of Hot Head Burritos restaurants is coming to the area this spring.

Both restaurants are located in Columbus, just south of Westerville. One of the restaurants will be situated in the Olentangy Square Shopping Center, while the other will be in the Lazelle Commons Shopping Center. Both restaurants are expected to open at some point in April.

The store at the Bethel Road location is owned by Matt Curtis and Tim Tefs. While this will be the third franchise in the area for the developers, Chris Gould and Mike Gardner will be opening their first restaurant at the North High Street location.

As new restaurants and other businesses open up in the Westerville and surrounding area, printing services from local print companies are likely to be needed to announce grand opening ceremonies, promotions, and other advertisements.

Curtis and Tefs first franchise location was in 2011 at 1509 Hilliard-Rome Road. In 2012, they expanded their franchise with an opening in Westerville at 5961 Sunbury Road. Another Hot Head Burritos, owned by Tony Ghiloni, also opened in Pataskala at 480 East Broad Street.

Jefs reported in an email that both of the new stores are located in high-traffic areas with good demographics. Both stores measure approximately 2,000 square feet . The Bethel Road location has been home to various pizza places, and the North High Street location was previously an Italian restaurant. The owners of that location expect to take advantage of the growth in the area as the residential base surrounding the location expands.
