Pizzeria hopes to earn a good crust in Westerville

Romeo’s Pizza will open a new location in Westerville early in October. Doris Cobb and Jason Cobb, her son, are the owners, and they also own a Romeo’s location in Polaris. They plan to open their new pizza restaurant at 5733 Maxtown Road in Westerville.
Romeo’s Pizza has decided to move into Westerville since the company sees the market in and around Columbus as one that provides it with a great growth opportunity. Columbus pizza fanciers have voted Romeo’s the best pizza in Columbus for four years running at the ‘Slice of Columbus’ festival. Given the popularity of the product, it is not hard to see why Romeo’s wants to locate here, and it plans to open more stores in the region within the next year.
Romeo’s is also looking for new franchisees in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton, as well as outside Ohio. As is usual with franchisors, Romeo’s helps its employees and franchisees by providing continuing training, support for leadership development, strategic planning, business development, safe food handling procedures, and marketing to make consumers aware of the new store.
Among the awards Romeo’s has won are ‘Best Gourmet Pizza in America’, ‘Best Pizza in the Midwest’ and ‘Best Pizza in Columbus’. Romeo’s has also had its pizza featured on the Food Network.
The Cobbs could order digital business cards for themselves and their employees, since the location is new. Giving new hires such cards can help build morale and makes them feel they are part of a team.
