Assisted living complex planned for Westerville

Paramount Health Resources, Incorporated, which is based in the Pittsburgh area, is planning to expand into Central Ohio, with a facility planned for Westerville.

The 100-unit development will cost $21m, and should be ready to open late in 2018. It will bring about 100 jobs with it.

Paramount expects to begin building the complex in July. The facility will comprise 85,000 square feet and will be three stories tall, with room left for the addition of a nursing home at some point. The complex will be located at the intersection of Worthington Road and Polaris Parkway, near I-71.

Paramount’s Chase Darmstadter said the company was growing rapidly, as were other companies that provide senior care. He said they had decided to build in Central Ohio because of the number of seniors here.

The facility will have both studios and suites available, and the apartments can be changed from independent to assisted living as circumstances warrant. In addition, 15 of the units will be in a secure section, designed specifically for those with impaired memory function. Depending on the size of the unit and the level of care required, rents will run between $3,000 and $4,500 per month.

A brochure printing company can help out with projects like this by creating illustrated booklets that describe the complex, its amenities, and the pricing, for the benefit of potential residents and their families.
