Granville Brewing to debut at this year’s Cocktails by the Fire event
January 21, 2013 by Mark
Granville Brewing, an up-and-coming nanobrewery, intends to make its public debut in early February at the yearly Cocktails by the Fire event in Newark. The brewery primarily makes Belgian-style ales and plans to go out on the market the week following its debut at the fundraising event.
Proceeds from the annual Cocktails by the Fire fundraising event will go to The Works Glass Studio. The evening will include glass-blowing demonstrations, refreshments from a variety of local restaurants, cocktails, and music. This year’s theme is the Prohibition Era that took place in the 1920s.
Organizers of fundraising activities within a community may utilize the printing services of local print companies to raise awareness to individuals about the event. This may be accomplished through banner printing, poster printing or a variety of other advertising means.
Granville Brewing intends to hit the market with three beers in the week following its debut. The beers include a tripel, a Belgian-style amber, and a saison. Initially, the beers will only be available in newark and Granville, but limited distribution is planned for the future in Columbus. The company reports that it is excited to be releasing its beers for the first time at the Cocktails by the Fire fundraiser. Tickets for the fundraising event are currently available. The price is $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers.
The release will take place on Saturday, February 2 from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm at The Works, located at 55 South 1st Street. Please note it is an adults only event.
