The Little Mermaid swims into Lebanon area

The Children’s Theatre of Mason (CTM) is giving back to the community that supports it the best way it can—by giving away tickets to its Mother’s Day weekend performances of The Little Mermaid Jr. The theatre is 10 years old this year, and has chosen this way to celebrate.

The CTM is donating over 500 tickets to families and children who would probably not be able to attend the show otherwise. Counselors and teachers from schools in five local districts—Lebanon, Lakota, Mason, Kings, and Milford—plan to share the tickets, giving them to students as well as other children.

Karen Kilgore, president of the CTM, notes the group has worked with over 1,000 youngsters on 23 productions, which have been seen by as many as 50,000 people in the greater Cincinnati region. Giving away tickets for these performances enables CMT to share its love of theater with young people who may never have seen a theatrical performance.

For those who are buying tickets, they are priced at $10 and can be purchased by calling 513-398-0116 or logging on to the theater’s website.

There are five performances scheduled over the course of the weekend, the full details of which can be found on the site. All shows are at the Mason High School Auditorium in Mason, Ohio.

This is a special occasion calling for special attention, so the CMT could work with poster printing experts to create a truly gorgeous, eye-catching poster for display throughout the region.
