Taste of Home to bring flavor to Lancaster

The popular television cooking show ‘Taste of Home’ is scheduled to visit Lancaster next month. The filming is set to take place at the Fairfield Christian Church, which is located at 1965 North Columbus Street, and it looks like it will be made into an afternoon-to-evening event.

Interesting events like this in Lancaster might use flyer or poster printing to alert individuals. Banner printing may also be used at such events to draw attention to specific areas or welcome guests, as well as to welcome and acknowledge VIPs from the show.

This year’s show will feature culinary specialist Eric Villegas, who will demonstrate how to prepare ten different dishes. Villegas is the author of a cookbook and owner of a restaurant, as well as the host of his own television cooking show, ‘Fork in the Road’.

In addition to food and vendors, the event will include various door prizes, including a goody bag filled with recipes and coupons and 20 bags of free groceries.

The show will be filmed on Thursday, September 6 and will begin at 7:00 pm, although the doors will be opened at 4:30 pm, given fans of the show early access. Various vendors and food and refreshments will be available to guests.

Tickets for the filming can be obtained at Personal Touch Party Rentals, Eagle-Gazette, Carnival Foods locations, or at the Lancaster Eagle Gazette website. General admission is $12 if tickets are purchased in advance or $14 if purchased at the door. Reserved seating and VIP tickets are also available for an additional charge.
