Citizens Bank opening new Lancaster location

October 16, 2012 by

The Citizens Bank will soon be opening a new location in Lancaster. The new branch will be located at 1618 North Memorial Drive and is scheduled to open its doors to the public sometime before the end of this month.

The new Lancaster location will mark the seventh branch for Citizens Bank throughout Athens, Logan, and Nelsonville. The Lancaster branch will offer a number of services to customers, including business and consumer financing, as well as travel services.

When financial institutions or other businesses and organizations either expand operations or move to a new location, various printing services are often necessary to make changes to various business documents and other printed materials. Stationery printing and business card printing are just two of the services that may be required. Some businesses may also elect to utilize digital business cards in an effort to reach out to a larger audience of possible clients and consumers.

The first branch of the Citizens Bank was opened in Logan on July 17, 1961. The opening of the Citizens Bank in Logan was the result of a group of local businessmen who developed the idea to establish a financial institution in the community. The bank enjoyed such success that it was soon necessary to move operations to a larger building. In 1977, the first Citizens Bank branch was opened in the Hocking Mall. Throughout the years, the bank has continued to expand in an effort to serve more and more customers.
