Mediterranean cuisine adding a touch of variety

A new, Mediterranean restaurant will soon be adding a touch of variety to Avon Common, located just west of fairview park, where it operates another location. Dolce Wraps, owned and founded by Farah Lahham, is scheduled to open in the next few weeks in Avon Commons. The new restaurant will occupy the space that was formerly home to Hot Dog Heaven and it will seat approximately 40 individuals inside.

According to Lahham, the store is scheduled to open in four weeks if all goes as planned. While the name of the restaurant includes the term, “wraps,” Lahham said a number of other Middle Eastern dishes and items will be available, such as salads, falafel, hummus, and tabouli. Food will be prepared to order and will include items such as sautéed vegetables with steak or chicken and a choice of sauces. Customers will place their orders at the counter and meals will then be prepared immediately. A variety of vegan items will also be available.

When businesses, such as Dolce Wraps, move into a new area, local printing companies may be used to provide banner printing, poster printing, and other printing services to announce the opening of a store, or to alert customers to special promotions or sale items. In addition, new businesses typically find they need business card printing or stationery printers to establish themselves in a new location.

Lahham stated that all food items are freshly prepared on a daily basis and nothing is frozen, excepting pitas. Meat in the restaurant will be prepared daily on a rotisserie and shaved fresh as needed.
