Oil distributor coming to Fairfield

RelaDyne, a wholesale oil distributor, plans to move to Fairfield, according to an article on Cincinnati.com.

According to Tony Downs, RelaDyne’s Midwest general manager, the company, whose clients include Chevron and Shell, has outgrown its facility. Currently, the distributor operates on River Road in Sayler Park, a location that Downs says has been great for them, but he adds fairfield will be a good area in which to relocate and expand.

The complex RelaDyne will lease is still in the planning stage. NorthPoint Development is planning to build two buildings on the northeast corner of Union Centre Boulevard and Seward Road. The site will offer 39.7 acres, and RelaDyne will lease space in one of the new buildings. It plans to take over approximately 105,000 square feet.

The NorthPoint project will be called Union Centre Logistics Park. It includes the building in which RelaDyne plans to lease space; the total square footage of this structure is 477,360 SF. The second structure will provide 128,304 square feet, but has no tenants yet.

For its part, Fairfield is equally enthusiastic. The city’s director of development services, Greg Kathman, calls the move a “good project for the city,” providing both short- and long-term benefits, particularly if RelaDyne’s growth continues at its recent pace.

Municipalities like this can benefit if officials work with a newsletter printing company to create a newsletter providing relevant news to residents.
