Menchi’s to serve up a week of fun and frozen treats
August 23, 2012 by James
Menchi’s Frozen Yogurt is kicking off the opening of its new location with a weeklong celebration filled with fun for all ages and frozen treats for all, beginning this Saturday, August 25. A different special will be featured each day and free frozen yogurt will be served from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday.
The new store, located at 8177 Princeton-Glendale Road in West Chester, is Menchi’s second store in the greater Cincinnati area. Jim Hach, owner and operator of the frozen yogurt stores, hopes to open five locations throughout Cincinnati. Hach is currently looking at the possibility of opening another location at the shopping complex in fairfield in the near future.
Grand opening celebrations and events often use local print companies to promote the events and draw attention to special offers. Banner printing, poster printing and flyer printing are all typically used to promote such grand openings and activities.
The week-long celebration will kick off on Saturday at 11:00 am with a ribbon-cutting, Menchie the mascot, free T-shirts, frozen yogurt, and balloon modeling. Sunday’s events, starting at 1:00 pm, will include face-painting, T-shirt art, and free plushy dolls. On Monday, customers can fill their yogurt cups for only $1 and kids aged 10 and under can eat for free on Tuesday. Wednesday’s promotion features half-off on frozen yogurt at lunchtime, while Thursday at 3 pm, customers can get a dodge ball for free with each cup of yogurt purchased. Rounding up the week of celebration on Friday with ‘Date Night’ starting at 8:00 pm, customers can enjoy ‘buy one, get one free’ frozen yogurt until closing time.
