Get in the summer spirit with the Backyard Bash

A “Backyard Bash” will be hosted by the Cincy Blues Society and the Liberty Rotary Club of West Chester on Saturday, May 19. The event will take place at the Voice of America Museum, located just west of Fairfield in West Chester and will run from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

The Bash will include fun and exciting activities for kids, award-winning entertainment, and refreshments. Activities include a K-9 demonstration, balloon artists, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, inflatable rides and Little League pitching and hitting lessons. City Barbeque will provide delicious BBQ platters, with proceeds going to charity. Kettle corn, ice cream and local beer will also be available.

Entertainment at the event will be provided by numerous award-winning blues bands, including Chuck Brisban and the Tuna Project, the Leo Clarks Band, G.Miles and the Hitmen, and regular performances from Them Bones.

Community and area events and activities may find local printing companies are needed to provide poster printing, flyer printing and a variety of other printing services. Banner printers may also be necessary for this type of event. Banners are often used at such activities to announce the event or direct those in attendance to a specific area. As spring and summer kicks off, many communities, businesses, and organizations in and around the fairfield area will likely host fun and entertaining events such as the Backyard Bash.

Admission to the Backyard Bash is $5 per vehicle, while walk-ins can expect to pay $2 to gain access to the event. Those attending are welcome to bring blankets and chairs, though pets and coolers are prohibited.
