Warm up in downtown Elyria this April

February 27, 2012 by

On Saturday, April 28th, 2012 from 6:30 pm until 9 pm, downtown will be alive with this year’s annual Warm up with the Pops live concert. Each year Elyria hosts a live concert fundraiser to support the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, which performs downtown live on Labor Day weekend.

This year’s feature person will be Carl Topilow, the Conductor of the Cleveland Pops Orchestra. This event is through the Lorain Country Transportation and Community Center and features cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a formal dinner and entertainment by Carl Topilow himself. This year’s dinner features all the trimming and promises to provide guest with a pleasant networking evening. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, you might want to get on the phone and make reservations. The organization for downtown revitalization Main Street Elyria has put in a lot of hours to ensure that this event is a raging success. There will be a cash bar available at this event and the event is expected to bring in up to 500 people.

Printing companies in the area have completed all the stationery printing and the tickets, which are now on sale at Main Street Elyria’s office, and reservation must be made on or before April 22, 2012. For ticket reservations, call 440-322-5000. Tickets are $80.00 per person or $600.00 for a table of eight.

This event is being held at the Lorain County Transportation and Community Center located at 40 East Avenue, Elyria, Ohio. For additional information, contact Main Street Elyria at 440-322-5000 or visit the Main Street Elyria website.
