Ripple Effect to feature Susan Emerson

September 1, 2012 by

Award-winning actress and singer Susan Emerson will be giving a Cabaret performance to benefit the St. Aloysius Orphanage in Cincinnati at the upcoming ‘Ripple Effect’ fundraiser performance.

The ‘Ripple Effect’ holds a fundraising event almost every year to benefit a worthy cause, with the orphanage having been chosen as the beneficiary this time round. The event will take place at Pinecroft at Crosley Estate, located at 2366 Kipling Avenue.

Fundraising events and special performances often use banner printing at the event. Additionally, fundraising activities such as this might use flyer printing or banner printing to inform those in attendance about the benefactor. Poster printing might also be used before the event to raise awareness within the community.

‘Ripple Effect’ makes use of song and story to demonstrate how one individual can have a profound impact upon the lives of others through what may seem to be small, insignificant actions. This year’s cabaret features Susan Emerson, who has performed in numerous regional theatres and off-Broadway productions around the world. Emerson is also a Broadway veteran, having taken part in a number of Broadway tours. Vocal back-up will be provided by Lisa Asher, who is a Cincinnati native, a Bistro Award winner, and has claimed the New York Nightlife Award. Grammy-nominated Jeff Waxman will serve as musical director of the production.

The event will begin at 7:00 pm on September 8. Tickets are available online at $125 each, which includes food, parking, and the performance. All proceeds from the evening will go to benefit St. Aloysius Orphanage.
