Popular restaurant coming to Cincinnati

March 17, 2014 by

The Liberty Center may be barely underway, but its first restaurant tenant is already known.

Pies & Pints, a popular craft beer and gourmet pizza chain based in West Virginia, will open a new location at the mix-used center. The store will have a patio and occupy approximately 4,500 square feet. It will need 60-65 workers.

The chain has proven to be extremely popular in Dayton, with another location in Columbus also thriving. The company president and owner Rob Lindeman says its move to the Cincinnati site is the next step in its logical progression of stores, which are growing in a series of contiguous circles.

Lindeman says he plans to open a restaurant in Kentucky later in 2014, and is also checking out Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood for a second location in the city. He notes that although the Dayton location, located in The Greene shopping center, is doing well, he would prefer to keep one unique location operating in a given market rather than opening too many storefronts.

The Liberty Center, which will also have a Dillards and a CineBistro, is set to open in October, 2015

The restaurant, and any other businesses planning to move in to the new area, might consider working with a flyer printing company to create handouts to pass out near the opening day.
