Beerfest to raise cheers in Cincinnati

February 3, 2017 by

Cincinnati beer lovers have a lot to celebrate this year, including the Cincy Winter Beerfest coming soon, as well as new brews from popular breweries.

The Cincy Winter Beerfest is the 10th such event, and is slated for the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati. There are three sessions scheduled, including a new one Saturday afternoon, with ticket prices ranging from $45 to $95 for a connoisseurs’ reception. The high-end event features large-format beers and super premium drafts, as well as appetizers and access to a private restroom. The fest has become increasingly popular over the years, growing from 700 to 16,000 attendees.

In conjunction with the festival, MadTree is opening its new brewery, MadTree 2.0, located in Oakley, and closing its MadTree 1.0 location on Kennedy Avenue. The opening event will feature live music, food trucks, guest breweries, and special brews from MadTree itself.

Also in collaboration with the upcoming festival, Rhinegeist has released a wheat ale called Rood. In addition, it released Hans, a lager, to complement another beer, Franz. Both new beers can be found throughout Cincinnati, in cans or on tap.

The Cincy Winter Beerfest is on tap for February 17 and 18. The MadTree opening is February 11, and it is closing its 1.0 location tomorrow, February 4.

Events like this can benefit if organizers work with a flyer printing company, which can create a handout listing vendors and their locations in the convention center.
