20th annual Arts to Heart fundraiser to pass the $1 million mark

January 6, 2012 by

The 20th annual Art to Heart will be held on Sunday, January 15 at the Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Indiana, just north of Cincinnati. The joint fundraiser benefits the Richmond Art Museum and the Reid Hospital Foundation. Ault Music of Cincinnati will perform at the event. This year’s event is predicted to push the fundraising efforts of the past 20 years over the $1 million mark.

Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will go to the hospital’s Stop Taking on Pounds (STOP) childhood obesity program, as well as the museum’s educational arts programs for children.

Fundraising programs and events in and around the Cincinnati area often announce and draw support from the community by hanging a poster, printing flyers or advertising the event in a variety of other ways. Print companies are often called upon to provide banner printing and other items for such special events.

This year’s annual fundraising event will carry the theme, The Art of Life. A special dinner will be included and Ault Music of Cincinnati will provide entertainment. A silent auction and a live auction are the highlights of the event. The auctions will include sports memorabilia, artwork, jewelry, furnishings and tickets. Participants can view the items at the Art to Heart website prior to the event. Approximately 15 items will be available for the live auction, and around 35 items are expected for the silent auction. The auction will be conducted by Darin K. Lawson, an auctioneer with Wickliff & Associates.
