New engineering office opens in Canton

June 12, 2012 by

An engineering unit of the Michael Baker Corporation recently announced that it has opened an office in Canton.

As new businesses move into the Canton area, or existing companies relocate or expand, local printing companies may be called upon to provide a variety of printing services. For example, new businesses often require business card printing and stationery printing to reflect a new address and contact information. Some new businesses may also use banner printers to announce grand openings and promotions.

Baker employs approximately 1,000 individuals throughout the Utica/Marcellus Shale area, which encompasses a large portion of eastern Ohio. Christina Mayernik, regional operations manager for Baker Shale services and vice president, stated that the company is in a position to offer a large range of services, including permitting and well pad design, geospatial and surveying, facilities and pipeline design, and roadway rehabilitation support, as well as a variety of other services.

“The new Canton office further demonstrates our commitment to the region and support of companies engaged in this game-changing industry.”

said Mayernik.

William Lindenbaum, an office manager for Baker, stated that the opening of the new engineering office in Canton allows the company to offer more efficient services and quality staff to its current Shale clients located in the eastern portion of the state.

Lindenbaum said:

“It will facilitate growth in the engineering market in eastern Ohio supplementing established Baker engineering practices in Cleveland and Columbus.”

The new Michael Baker Jr. engineering unit is located in Suite 106 at 101 Cleveland Avenue. The office phone number is 330-453-3110, and the fax number is 330-453-3621.
