Mercy Health and Canton Leisure team up for Healthy Summer Kick-Off

May 3, 2012 by

Saint Joseph Mercy Health System and canton Leisure Services are teaming up in May to bring the first Healthy Summer Kick-Off to the Canton area. The event will take place on May 5 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Saint Joseph Mercy and Summit on the Park.

The family-friendly strolling event will promote a healthy and active community, providing an opportunity for families and individuals to take advantage of health initiatives and opportunities right in the community and surrounding area. A wide variety of activities and information will not only be available at the starting and ending points, but along the path between the two facilities as well.

Activities and community events hosted by local businesses and organizations generally use the services of local printing companies and Brochure Printers. Banner Printing, flyer printing and poster printing are just a few of the printing services that may be required for such events. Catalog Printing and postcard printing may also be required.

During the Healthy Summer Kick-Off, a variety of free health screenings will be offered at St. Joseph Mercy, at 1600 S. Canton Center Road. Summit on the Park is located at 46000 Summit Parkway.

Kathy Kasperek-Korelis, St. Joseph Mercy’s executive director of ambulatory services, stated:

“As the largest health care provider in Canton, we’re committed to helping the community kick-off their summer activities in a fun and healthy environment.”
