Fridays to be farmers’ market day in Fargo

August 13, 2012 by

This Friday, August 17, and every other Friday thereafter until the market closes, the Fargo VA’s Farmers’ Market will be open at the Fargo VA Health Care Facility located at 2101 Elm Street, N. in Fargo, North Dakota. This market will run from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

This fortnightly market will take place in the south side parking area of the Fargo VA Health Care Facility. This natural marketplace features homegrown, fresh produce, fresh-cut flowers, an assortment of canned products, honey products, and many other wholesome and healthy products. Vendors who would like to be part of this market and sell their wares are recommended to contact Sharon Goldsmith at 701-232-3241, extension 9-3352.

The Fargo VA Health Care System celebrated a milestone ribbon-cutting ceremony last Wednesday, August 8, to mark the grand opening of their audiology department for checking ears, eyes, throats, and noses. The VA supplies a number of benefits to veterans, including resources, education, home loans, vocational rehabilitation, compensation, pensions, and burials. Their mission is to support those who have been involved in wars and there are regional offices located throughout the continental United States.

Poster printing, digital flyer printing, and other printing services may have been used to promote awareness of this farmers’ market to the public. Admission to this event is free and everyone is welcome to go along and sample some products. For additional information about this organization or the farmer’s market, which is a rain-or-shine event, please visit the VA’s website or call the Health Care System at 701-232-3241.
