Share your arts and crafts at the Spring Festival

Spring Festival: An Arts and Crafts Affair will take place at the Omaha Civic Auditorium from April 13-15. Tickets are $7, $6 for seniors and free for children 10 and under. The festival has been named as one of the “top 100 shows in the country” by Sunshine Artist Magazine.
The Spring Festival will feature hundreds of vendors, on stage entertainment, food and drink concessions and hourly gift certificate giveaways. Vendors were chosen by a jury; they must only sell handmade, one-of-a-kind items, no imports or national brands allowed. Each booth costs $350 and vendors are expected to dress in “business casual”.
Each booth must also feature a professional sign or banner featuring the business or artist name. Omaha companies can provide banner printing services that will provide vendors with a dramatic professional banner to help draw people from across the room. Every booth also comes with free electricity and drapes on three sides; vendors are encouraged to make their booth unique and welcoming to the public.
Many people today are tired of the low-quality merchandise that seems to be available in every store. They want to know that when they give a gift to a friend or family member that it is a quality one that is unique to their personality. The only way to get such items is to attend local arts and crafts shows or to make them yourself. Since many are also not very artistic, many rely on artists and crafters to provide us with handmade, one-of-a-kind originals.
