Orchard comes alive with bluegrass

The Applegrass Bluegrass and Old Time Music Festival will take place at Ditmars Orchard in Council Bluffs, Iowa from September 1 to 2. Admission is $10 per day or $15 for both days, while children aged 12 and under are admitted free of charge.

Bluegrass fans are advised to bring their own chairs to this music festival. There will be plenty of great tunes to enjoy, from such bands as E Minors, Stinkbai, The Stangls, and Plain Label. There will also be food vendors, a jamming tent, children’s activities such as bounce houses, games and crafts, and wagon rides for anyone who wants one. In addition, commercial vendors such as Art of Henna, Usborne Books, and Quilting Horizon will be selling their products.

Vendors who are planning to take part in the festival will no doubt be working with printing companies from the area, including nearby Omaha, to prepare for this popular annual event. They will probably be interested in such services as banner printing and flyer printing. The company logo on a large, colorful banner hung across a booth could only help to bring people to that vendor’s area. In addition, flyers could be created to let the community know the company will be taking part in this event. They could then be distributed door-to-door in the area, which should draw more people to the festival.

Summer is dwindling down and there little time left to attend outdoor music festivals, so this one should be a great way to say goodbye to the season.
