Omaha Business Hall of Fame to induct new members

March 17, 2013 by

The Omaha Business Hall of Fame Gala, which is coming up at the end of April, will be inducting several new members. Past inductees who have received this prestigious honor have included former mayors, university presidents, and business leaders.

The Omaha Business Hall of Fame is located at the Durham Museum and all winners are on permanent display. Guests at the gala will be treated to cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and dessert. This will be followed by the induction ceremony.

This event, in addition to paying tribute to outstanding business leaders, should be an excellent networking opportunity for Omaha businesspersons. Many of those who are planning to attend will probably have already placed a new business card printing order with their local print company, and will aim to ensure that they have enough cards to exchange with their business peers, that their contact information is current and correct, and that their cards are in pristine condition.

Inductees to the Hall of Fame can come from any industry and any sized company, although they must reside in Greater Omaha and have made an outstanding contribution to the business community, playing an instrumental role in their business’ development. Their reception of the honor will likely encourage many of those in attendance to follow their example.

The 2013 Omaha Business Hall of Fame Gala will take place at the Holland Performing Arts Center on April 23 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Tickets are $250 each. For more information call 402-346-5000.
