Omaha Arts Festival welcomes the summer
May 16, 2013 by James
The Omaha Summer Arts Festival is taking over Downtown Omaha for three days this June.
This annual event will feature an artists’ market, art demonstrations, a Taste Fest featuring local restaurants and caterers, musical entertainment and children’s activities.
The theme of this year’s kids’ event is “music makes the world go round” and children will have the opportunity to create crafts and take part in activities that center on that theme. There will also be a young artists’ exhibition.
Two stages, the World Music Pavilion Stage and the Family Entertainment Stage, will be hosting a variety of performances throughout the run of the festival. An outdoor festival such as this could be an excellent way to spend some quality time with the family and to possibly purchase some artwork for the home.
It is likely that those artists who are planning to sell items during the festival will be working with Omaha printing companies to prepare. This might involve purchasing banners to draw attention to their booths, flyers to let their previous customers know they will be taking part in the festival, or postcards to hand out to those who visit their booth.
The Omaha Summer Arts Festival will take place from June 7 – 9 in Downtown Omaha. Admission is free. For more information, the event has its own website with details on the sort of things visitors can also. Alternatively, Vic Gutman and Associates can be contacted at 402-345-5401 to find out more.
