Families from the St. Peters area are invited to engage in some friendly competition at a local skating rink.
This weekend, the city’s Rec-Plex facility will be hosting its own version of the Winter Games. A printing company may be in charge of producing flyers and posters for this event right now.
Attendees of all skill levels and ages will enjoy a variety of ice-based activities, including hockey, speed skating, figure skating, and curling. They will be welcome to participate as family units. Everyone who completes the series of events will receive an Olympic-style medal. Participants will be able to climb onto an awards stand and pose for photos.
Those who are interested in playing hockey or honing their ice skating skills will have a chance to learn about the recreation center’s regular class offerings. The Rec-Plex has programs for children and adults from a wide range of athletic backgrounds and abilities.
There will also be a hockey tournament during the weekend of the Winter Games. Those who register for this activity will be divided into groups according to their age and will compete in teams of three.
The Winter Games will run from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 23. Admission will cost $8 per person.
The Rec-Plex is located at 5200 Mexico Road. Those seeking additional information may call (636) 939-2386 ext.1400.
