March in with the saints this Christmas

Preparation is everything when it comes to fundraising, donating, and sponsoring an event and the Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service of St. Charles, Warren, and Lincoln counties understands this.
The Care Service is currently pursuing organization heads and business owners to embark on the rewarding journey of coordinating the Adopt-a Family Christmas Program, which hosts its giveaway weekend in early December.
This undertaking requires months of managing the wishes of individuals or families and the influx of gifts from charitable donors. Regrettably, this doesn’t happen without action but there may be rewards for your participation.
Keep in mind the words of another saint: “whoever sows generously will also reap generously” and arrange for local printing companies in towns such as St. Peters, Elsberry, and Wright City to print company logos and images on the packages which will be distributed.
Toys will probably fit in the boxes but bikes would be a struggle. Care Service is also seeking organizations to sponsor a used bicycle drive. Having a bike, like having toys, is associated with a regular childhood. As far as bike repairs are concerned, the hosts are not expected to patch-up the donated bicycles.
If you have a little soul, try volunteering to fund roughly $12,000 in first-hand shoe certificates for kids and adults. Interested parties can e-mail Karen Runge at firstname.lastname@example.org and there are a range of other opportunities for sponsorship and lending your voluntary support.
