Baby Photo Contest goes into November

Between the Baby Photo Contest, the nearby book club, and even an upcoming project update, St. Peters residents are getting a firsthand opportunity to be plugged into the community during the next few weeks.

Print companies have probably already been tapped for printing services like poster printing and flyer printing with the Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital hosting a Baby Photo Contest. Parents who are looking for another way to show off the newest member of the family are being invited to submit photographs of kids who are 12 months old or younger.

Besides the prestige of winning the contest, as well as the distinction of having the picture featured in the hospital’s Obstetrics & Gynecology department, there is also a $100 prepaid Visa card in it for the winners. Free to enter and featuring a deadline of November 2, there are plenty of good reasons to submit an original photo.

To start the month, there is also going to be a Book Club meeting at the Museum on September 4. Taking place right here in St. Peters, this is another opportunity for residents to bond over books.

For those who do not mind making the trip over to Saint Charles, however, it is also worth noting that a ‘Blanchette Bridge Project Update’ is scheduled to take place this Thursday, August 30. Being held at the Saint Charles Police Department from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, there is something to be said for putting in an appearance here. Hosted through the joint efforts of the Missouri Department of Transportation and the St. Charles City Council, it cannot do any harm to give this option a shot.
