Zoos and brews the St. Louis news

An event going by the exotic name of ‘Zootini’ is actually a unique pub crawl presented by Macy’s in St. Louis hosted by the Young Zoo Friends.

The crawl takes place next month in Dogtown and includes stops at Felix’s Pizza Pub, Pat’s Bar and Grill, Tamm Avenue Grill, and Heavy Riff Brewing Company. The crawl concludes at Seamus McDaniel’s with an after-party get-together.

Proceeds will benefit the St. Louis Zoo for its conservation projects not only at the zoo itself, but across the globe. The event is for adults age 21 and older with admission including a free beverage at every bar, drink promotion specials, after party games, appetizers, prizes, and a souvenir T-shirt.

Working with a local print company provides can be an excellent resource for production of materials needed for the event. Banner printing is a common project for any type of event that draws participants to different locations.

The Zootini Pub Crawl will take place on November 23 from noon until 6:00 pm. Team participation is encouraged, and can consist of 8 – 12 members. The first 10 teams to register will have the honor of choosing their own color of T-shirt. General admission is $40 per person through November 8.

The team captains will be able to retrieve supplies for their teammates at Seamus McDaniel’s on November 21 or November 23.
