Public Speaking Workshop closes the month

July 25, 2012 by

With both a workshop on public speaking and a presentation on entrepreneurship coming up, career-oriented individuals have at least a couple of selections available to them from a professional development standpoint.

For starters, the Public Speaking Workshop being hosted right here in St. Louis is one that definitely deserves a second look. After all, even for professionals who rarely spend a lot of time in the public eye, the ability to communicate with people is a skill that transcends industries and sectors. Taking place on July 31, this event has been slated to begin in the evening at 6:00 pm. Priced at $20 at the door, this content-filled workshop is one for which to keep an eye out.

Two weeks later, professionals will have the option of attending ‘Entrepreneurship: Planning, Financing, and Starting Your Business’. Whether an aspiring business owner is considering the merits of catalog printing versus flyer printing for a campaign or approaching prospective investors, there is no question that there are certain concepts that will aid in making an informed decision.

Over the course of this three-hour presentation, attendees will be able to learn all about the fundamentals of putting together a business plan, finding funding, and getting their businesses up and running. With discussion also expected to cover SBA loans, this workshop is ideal for both aspiring entrepreneurs and individuals who are looking for a short refresher. Starting bright and early at 9:00 am, the content alone is well worth it for those with an interest in doing business the right way.
