Musical mummy mayhem to see in 2014

December 26, 2013 by

This New Year’s Eve, locals can come out and watch ‘Here Come the Mummies’. This show is designed for people over the age of 21 and features a solid line up of funk and R&B music. Poster printing and other printing services may have been used to spread the word about this group’s appearance in the city and its surrounding areas.

The band is best known for its appearances dressed in full mummy costumes and attired bandages, and consists of a number of professional musicians from the Nashville, Tennessee area. MTV.com states that it is rumored that several of its members are Grammy award winners, although this is hard to verify as their true identities are kept secret.

These band members are believed to be under a number of record labels and hiding their identities. They perform at many locations in the Midwest and South with a tongue-in-cheek humor and in ‘Mummy’ character throughout the performance. Identification may be required, so guests should remember to bring their photo ID.

Tickets range in price from $30 to $40 per person, depending on whether they are ordered in advance, at the door, or in the balcony. Here Come the Mummies will appear live on Tuesday, December 31, with doors opening at 8:00 pm and the performance starting at 9:00 pm at The Pageant located at 6161 Delmar Blvd in St. Louis, Missouri. To find out more about the group, or to purchase tickets, please visit The Pageant website or call their box office at 314-726-6161.
