Chamber gets down to business

The St. Louis Regional Chamber of Commerce is doing more than enough to ensure that its members get a legitimate chance to connect with one another while hearing from excellent guest speakers throughout the coming weeks.

With the 2012 Business After Hours meet-up taking place on September 11, local professionals will need to move quickly in order to ensure that they have contacted a reputable printing company in time to make a fresh order of business cards. Beginning at 5:30 pm and going for a full two hours afterwards, this networking event is one that chamber members will not want to miss out on. Set at a cost of $5, open for registration until September 9, and being hosted at the BlackFinn American Grille, there are many good reasons to put in an anppearance.

Two days later, on September 13, there will also be ‘Breakfast with the Gazelles’. Starting fairly early in the morning at 7:30 am and wrapping up at 9:00 am, attendees will be able to hear from three successful female professionals. Over the course of this breakfast, Tracy Hart of Tarlton Corp., Suzanne Magee of Techguard Security, and Cassandra Sanford of the Kelly Mitchell Group, will be speaking on the topic of “Success and Challenge-Important Keys to a Thriving Woman-run/Owned Business”.

With Neal S. Wolin, Deputy US Treasury Secretary, also speaking the following day, St. Louis professionals have every reason to be excited about all that September has to offer. There can be no questioning the full calendar that the chamber has put together.
