Two new ambassadors who will represent the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals have been recently announced.

Hayden Scheffer and Hannah Smith will represent the partner hospitals of the non-profit organization, SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. During 2013, both representatives will represent the hospitals and raise awareness for CMN and the hospitals. Both children will be speaking of their own experiences in the hospitals throughout the area and taking part in some of the marketing campaigns which will take place during the year. The marketing campaign of the organization may involve stationery printing services, which are available in the local area.

A child is selected to be an ambassador for each partner hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals every year, to represent the hospitals throughout the community of St. Louis. Hayden, 14, received a kidney transplant at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, while Hannah received treatment at St. Louis Children’s Hospital for Osteosarcoma, which was diagnosed in 2011. Both children are now healthy and living life to the full, thanks to the care and treatment from the hospitals.

CMN works on behalf of the St. Louis community to raise awareness and funding for both hospitals. Funding is shared by the hospitals, being used to improve patient services, equipment, and new programs, all of which help to improve the lives of children who are hospitalized through illness. The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has pages on Twitter and Facebook which will help to raise its profile.
