Seniors offered the chance to see well-known play
July 25, 2013 by Mark
Seniors can enjoy a trip to see ‘Legally Blonde’, performed by Stages, later this month as part of a package that includes a luncheon after arriving by bus at the performance destination.
Poster printing and brochure printing may have been used to promote this bus trip to people in this community and the surrounding region.
In this production, Elle Woods, a sorority sister and a classy, sassy blonde, believes she has her entire future tied up in pretty pink ribbon, until her boyfriend dumps her for someone who is more serious than her. Being Elle, and not willing to stand for such behavior, she sets out going after what she wants, while remaining true to herself.
As the performance continues, Elle shows that going after what she is truly seeking will never be out of style. Lyrics for the songs performed are written by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, and are based on a book written by Heather Hach.
Tickets for this event cost $39 per person and include lunch. The Legally Blonde Seniors Trip will be happening on Wednesday, July 31, leaving the St. Ann Golden Club at 11:45 am and returning around 5:00 pm. The performance takes place at the Robert G. Reim Theatre located at 11 S. Geyer Road in Saint Louis, Missouri. To reserve a seat for this trip, or to find out more about the production, please call 314-822-5859 or visit the Stages or City of St. Ann website.
