Running competition goes down the digital route
August 30, 2013 by Mark
The 36th Annual Labor Day Run (LDR) and 7th Annual Kids Triathlon offers a chance for the entire family to get some fresh air and exercise in early September.
A challenging USATF 5k and 10k looped course is sure to test applicants, who might have responded to the poster and flyer printing drives often carried out to promote events like these. There is just about still time to register for the run, but the deadline is just before midnight tonight.
During this event, a chip timing system will be used to calculate and computerize the results. At the finish line, all competitors will enjoy some delicious drinks and a really big spread of tasty food. All the children competing in the triathlon, and the first 400 registered LDR runners in this event, will receive a performance shirt. Complimentary messages will be provided for all LDR runners after the race as well.
The children’s triathlon will be completed on a closed course around the Millstone Campus. Participants are reminded that this is an outdoor event that requires appropriate clothing, good track shoes, and sunscreen. Various categories are available for entrants.
The Annual Labor Day Run and Annual Kids Triathlon will be happening on Monday, September 2nd at the Jewish Community Center located at 2 Millstone Campus Drive in St. Louis, Missouri, just a short drive from St. Ann.
