Watlow will have to remodel more than 50,000 square feet and build 30,000 of additional space in order to accommodate the new features. The developers and researchers at the Fenton branch will eventually move to the newly redeveloped technology center.
Watlow Chairman and CEO Peter Desloge commented heavily on the renovations and move of the team to make the Advanced Technology Center a success. He said
“Our vision is to offer our company, our customers and our community a top-notch facility that promotes team member collaboration and innovation to create industry-leading thermal systems in support of our customers’ diverse applications.”
Desloge went on to say that the plan is for 50 jobs to become available once the building is compete.
Local and state regulations must be met for the project, but if it creates enough jobs and warrants good investment, the Department of Economic Development will give Watlow incentives.
Businesses like Watlow that have the opportunity to make such large renovations are highly professional, and prestigious companies tend to use letterheads when corresponding with both businesses and individuals. Stationery printers can turn a mundane letter to a statement for a company and give them the sterling reputation they need to prosper.
