Friday night lights set to shine

Locals can see in this weekend with Macy’s Festival of Lights, forming a key part of the Christmas celebrations in downtown St. Louis and offering performers, entertainment, and traditional holiday festivities.

Acting as the kick-off to the Christmas season, the event has no doubt been promoted to locals using banner printing and other promotional printing services.

This seasonal festival begins at the Christmas Village, at which there will be a number of food trucks and plenty of entertainment from a brass ensemble, ballet dancers, a choir, and carol singers. Appearances by the Rivertown Sound Quartet, Muny Kids, and, of course, Santa Claus will add to the fun lineup.

Holiday treats and a ‘Show Me the Sound’ march will be happening on the Luminarie Walkway on 7th Street, and trolley rides will be available as well. This year’s special guest is Sharon Reed from KMOV TV on Channel 4.

There is no admission fee to attend this event and people of all ages are invited. It will be occurring on Friday, November 22, starting at 4:00 pm at the May Amphitheatre located in Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis, which is only a half-hour drive from Maryland Heights, Missouri.

The tree lighting ceremony will take place about 6:25 pm and will be followed by a fireworks display. At about 7:00 pm, there will be an American Patriot Beer After Party.
