Chamber looks to stay active this month

The Maryland Heights Chamber of Commerce has given its members a legitimate chance to stay plugged into the professional community during the summer. With a July Board Meeting just around the corner and events like the Chamber Breakfast Club and the New Member Orientation following close behind, local entrepreneurs should be considering the possibility of getting some fresh business card printing done ahead of time.

Things start getting interesting on July 17 with the Maryland Heights Chamber hosting its monthly Board Meeting. Slated to begin at 11:30 am, the board will be talking about the things that matter to local professionals, as well as what can be done to help the Chamber better accommodate the needs of its members. Although things are slowing down for summer, the board still seems to be staying heavily involved.

Two days later, on July 19, the Chamber will be hosting its regular Breakfast Club. Once again offering business professionals and other career-oriented types an opportunity to connect with each other over coffee, there are a number of reasons to consider putting in an appearance at CATCO. Starting at 7:30 am and expected to conclude at 9:00 am, this free event is one to consider.

Interestingly enough, things quiet down until August 1, when the chamber hosts its hour-long ‘New Member Orientation’ at Wingate Inn. Beginning at 8:30 am and wrapping up at around 9:30 am, this is a chance for local business owners to learn more about how chamber memberships can be leveraged to create new business opportunities.
