Local businesses come together at the Home and Outdoor Expo

One way in which local businesses can continue to thrive in a difficult economic climate is by advertising themselves to the general community and by appearing at various trade shows. One such trade show taking place in January is the Home and Outdoor Expo in Farmington.

The show, which accepts all types of businesses, is an excellent way for local companies to showcase their products and services. It is also a chance for them to make some extra sales and to encourage customers to remember them the next time they go shopping. In past years, the types of companies who have taken part in the expo have included wineries, cable companies, and home renovation companies.

Vendors can rent booths for $185 each, $340 for two, and $495 for three. A discount will apply if they book before December 31. Many of them will probably be arranging for such services as sign and banner printing from Farmington printing companies. Hanging a colorful banner or sign over a booth will is likely to draw more attention from those in attendance and encourage many of them to stop at the booth.

It is expected that hundreds of customers will attend, making it a major lure for local businesses. Those wanting to take part are asked to register and pay by January 21.

The Home and Outdoor Expo will take place at the Farmington Civic Center from January 26 – 27. Admission is free. For more information contact the Farmington Chamber of Commerce at 573-756-3615.
