New fitness center offers full body training

MKT Fitness has just opened in Columbia, and owner John Stull is standing by his commitment to give back to the community.

The fitness center, which encompasses CrossFit, will focus on helping individuals build strength and endurance.

Stull, who is a certified CrossFit trainer, will work along with his staff to provide modern fitness for members. The coaches are certified in various fitness areas and they each offer a unique skillset for gym members, with digital business cards that would read like a novel if one combined the years of experience and certifications of each coach.

The gym will be offering boot camps and gymnastics as well, as regular CrossFit fitness programs. CrossFit offers strength and conditioning training and encourages clients to push themselves to limits they may not have known they had.

The boot camps will be ongoing and are scheduled at various times. The camps are focused on helping clients lose fat and gain cardio fitness. Free trials are available to those who are not sure they want to commit to the boot camps.

For clients who prefer smaller groups, there are personal training options available which include individual training or a small semi-private group. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this service is asked to make an appointment for a consultation to assess fitness needs and obtain nutritional guidance.

MKT Fitness is located at 2900 Forum Blvd. The center is open 5:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday. Prices range from $100 to $130 a month.
