Hare-raising egg hunt to be held in Chesterfield
March 12, 2014 by Mark
Logan University will be holding its annual Hare in the Air Egg hunt next month, making for a free family friendly event that should prove fun for people of all ages.
In addition to egg hunts, there will also be a petting zoo for children, costumed characters, a balloon artist, a fire-truck, and a temporary tattoo station.
Organizers will be holding several egg hunts, broken down by age group. There will be no hunts for children older than eight, but they are welcome to enjoy other activities at the event. Children will be supervised inside of an enclosure for all egg hunts by a student volunteer, withno parents allowed. All children must be registered prior to the hunt to help ensure they are in with the right age group. Parents are asked to bring a basket for their child.
The egg hunts will be held consecutively to allow parents to watch children of different ages as they participate. Afterwards, the Bunny will be posing for pictures with individual children, and some parents may want to use the opportunity for postcard printing in the future.
The Hare in the Air Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 29, at the Logan University campus, 1851 Schoettler Road, Chesterfield. Registration starts at 10:00 am, and the Bunny will hop along an hour later.
