The Minnesota State Fair has something for everyone

The Minnesota State Fair is returning to St. Paul for ten days this August and September.

There will be plenty of activities and events taking place during the fair that will appeal to everyone no matter what their age. The fair will feature concerts by such world-renowned artists as Sammy Hagar, Sheryl Crow and Depeche Mode. There will also be agricultural and livestock exhibits, an adventure park, environmental displays, a midway and several competitions. In addition, visitors can also take part in a dance party, a talent contest, a giant sing along or a 5K run.

The Adventure Park will feature live animals, games and activities such as bungee jumping and a river raft ride and a butterfly house. The Eco Experience will offer visitors a chance to learn about being environmentally friendly. It will feature interactive games, the Gen Y Eco House, seminars and information from a variety of community organizations.

St. Paul printing companies are not doubt helping to provide the organizers of the fair with such products as concert tickets, posters and flyers for advertising.

The Minnesota State Fair takes place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds from August 22 to September 2. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for youth and seniors and free for children under 5 years of age. There will be several promotional days with discounted admission.
