St. Paul to venture into the great outdoors

The 44th annual Minnesota Sportsmen’s Boat, Camping and Vacation Show is taking place over four days in St. Paul next month.

The show is set to feature the newest in boats, RVs, campers, and other outdoor vehicles, as well as the latest accessories for outdoorspeople. It will also offer activities and seminars aimed at those who wish to learn more about hunting, fishing, and dog training. The seminars are free and will feature such speakers as Steve Carney, Joe Henry, Todd Amenrud, and Jason Dommeyer. Topics will include ‘Getting your dog professionally trained’ and ‘Tips for catching Metro Walleyes’. Ron Schara will also be conducting a kids’ fishing school.

Other activities will include live trout fishing and performances by Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show. There is sure to be something taking place that will appeal to each member of the family no matter what their interests.

This popular outdoor show will no doubt attract visitors from all over the St. Paul area. To help spread the word about such shows, local printing companies are often asked to provide marketing materials such as posters and flyers. These are then distributed throughout the area for very little cost.

The Minnesota Sportsmen’s Show is being held at the Saint Paul River Centre from January 9 to 12. Tickets are $9 for adults, $2.50 for those aged 6 to 12, and free for children of 5 years old and under. To find out more about the show, call 651-265-4800.
