St. Paul gets in training for annual sale

The annual Spring Hobby Show and Sale, presented by the Twin City Model Railroad Museum, will take place this year on National Train Day – a date dedicated to illustrating the rich history of this particular mode of transport in the United States.

The show will feature plenty of model train layouts and children’s activities. Commercial vendors, probably armed with up-to-date digital printing cards, are likely to be selling a wide variety of items, such as model train accessories, items to be used in layouts, historic collectibles, and books about transport.

The Thomas the Tank Engine traveling layout will be on location, and there will also be live on-stage appearances of characters from Choo Choo Bob. No doubt this is a show that will appeal to the entire family, with the children certainly not likely to be bored.

It is likely that the organizers will be working with St. Paul printing companies to help prepare for the show, perhaps investing in banner printing services to help highlight various areas of the show, or flyer printing services to advertise the yearly show within the community.

The Spring Hobby Show and Sale will be held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on May 11 from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Tickets are $6 for adults or free for those under the age of five. The ticket also includes free admission to the Twin City Model Railroad Museum. For more information on the show, contact the museum at 612-220-3384.
