Annual craft returns to St. Paul this spring
March 22, 2014 by Mark
The 2014 American Craft Council Show comes back to St. Paul for three days this April.
More than 225 artists and crafters from the St. Paul area are expected to be selling their items at the show. This will probably include handmade jewelry, clothing, paintings, pottery, ceramics, fiber arts, and home decorations.
There are also set to be two exhibits: ‘Make Room, Modern Design Meets Craft – Let’s Entertain’ which will feature room displays, and the ‘American Craft Charm Collection’. The show should be a good place to pick up an original item to give as a gift to friends or family, or to discover talented artists from the area.
Vendors can rent space at the show for $95 up to $235. In order to bring more attention to their booths, vendors will likely be decorating them so that people stop by and help to increase their sales. This might involve investing in products from St. Paul printing companies such as colorful signs, posters, and banners to hang over their booths, or postcards to hand out to customers.
The American Craft Council Show is taking place at the Saint Paul RiverCentre from April 11 to 13. Admission is $11 in advance or $12 at the door, and three-day passes can also be bought for $26 or $28. Call 651-265-4800 for more information.
