Upcoming fundraiser will help the homeless

Mardi Gras 2014 is taking place this February in St. Cloud. It is a fund raising event for Catholic Charities Emergency Services and Domus Transitional Housing.
The gala event will start off with a reception featuring hors d’oeuvres, a wine pull, a silent auction and music from the Six Appeal Vocal Band. For the wine pull, guests who purchase a ticket choose a numbered cork, if that number matches the number on a bottle of wine they get to take it home with them.
The main event of the evening is the gourmet dinner which will be followed by entertainment by Synergy and dancing.
Local businesses and individuals are being asked to donate items to the silent auction and bottles of wine for the wine pull. Currently, items that have been donated include two Felling hydraulic trailers. Sponsorships are also available from $500 to $6,000.
All of those who donate items and sponsors will be recognized in the event program that everyone attending will receive. When organizers are looking for a supplier for such items they often turn to St. Cloud brochure printers to provide them.
Mardi Gras 2014 will take place at the St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center on February 1 from 5:30 – 11:30 PM.
