Expo offers fun for kids and their parents

The 9th annual Kids and Parents Expo is taking place this month in St. Cloud.

It is expected to provide plenty of hands-on activities, freebies, stage shows, and martial arts demonstrations. At least70 exhibitors are planned to be on hand to provide educational resources for parents, trampolines for the kids to try out, and inflatable bounce houses.

If it is like previous expos, there will also be photo opportunities with live animals and free health screening tests. Members of the local police and fire departments will also be available to talk to visitors and show off their vehicles. There is bound to be something taking place during the expo that will appeal to every member of the family, no matter what their age.

It is expected that non-profit organizations will be in attendance to inform the public as to what they do in the community and how they can help families who live there. They might also provide printed material to take home.

Exhibitors may turn to St. Cloud printing companies to decorate their booths. This could involve banners, signs, and posters. Those companies can also provide a number of the free promotional items that are expected to be handed out during the day.

The Kids and Parents Expo is being held at the River’s Edge Convention Center on October 19 from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm. Admission is $4 or free to those aged 12 and under. To learn more about the day’s events, call 320-257-3976.
