Vivid tale on show for Dickens fans

December 12, 2013 by

A local performance of ‘A Christmas Carol’ will feature Roger Erickson and Charlie Boone with a concert reading of the beloved holiday classic.

The concert will be narrated by Don Stolz with music by the Dickens Carolers and Reuben Ristrom. The theater may have used poster printing and other promotional services to promote this holiday special to people in the community.

In this concert, all the delightful Charles Dickens characters come to live through the distinct reading of the author’s original story. They will be vividly displayed, including the cantankerous Ebenezer Scrooge, the mousy Bob Cratchit, the adorable Tiny Tim, the eerie spirit of Jacob Marley, and the three ghosts of Christmas that take Scrooge on his journey.

An ideal presentation for the entire family and a great way to kick off the holiday season for people of all ages, this presentation will take place on the main stage and tickets can be purchased with the dinner or for the show only.

Tickets for the reading are $45 per person for the dinner and show or $30 per person for the show only. A Christmas Carol will be performed on Monday, December 16th with dinner beginning at 6:00 pm and the show following at 8:00 pm at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre located at 501 West 78th Street in Chanhassen, Minnesota, a few miles away from Princeton. For additional information, or to book tickets, visit the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre website or call the box office at 952-934-1525 or 800-362-3515.
