River festival set to flow in
May 29, 2013 by James
The ‘Rum River Festival’ comes to the area in a couple of weeks, with this year’s theme being ‘Take Me To The River’.
A highlight of the week-long event is the Rum River Festival Parade, which will be held on Thursday, June 13, starting at 6:00 pm. That is not to say, however, that festival does not have many other great activities for the entire family. Poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing were most likely used to remind families in this area about this annual festival and all it offers.
From June 9 – 16, there will be plenty on offer. Guests can expect to enjoy and participate in citywide yard and garage sales on June 13 – 14. There will also be some great county music by Alan Godage & Sundown on Friday, June 14 from 6:00 pm to 10:00pm. That Friday will also feature Speedway Races, beginning at 7:00pm.
On the Saturday, the Street Fair will be happening, followed by a Fly-in and Breakfast on Sunday morning from 7:00 am to 12:30 pm. This fun filled festival has something for all ages and the parade will be offering a while of prizes to celebrate creativity and effort.
Admission is free to everyone and all are welcome. The Rum River Festival will be held throughout the week at various times with events happening throughout the community of Princeton, Minnesota. To learn more about the schedule or location of each event, please visit the Rum River Festival website or call the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce office.
