Driving event on track this weekend

July 17, 2013 by

‘Kids Night: Meet the Drivers’ is the season opener at the Princeton Speedway and enables children and their parents to join in the fun at trackside and meet the drivers that make the speed, spills, and chills possible.

This summer opener provides people with the opportunity to get up close and personal with race officials, track stars, and the pit crews. Poster printing and flyer printing by local printing companies may have been used to promote this event.

Children will be able to enjoy a flyover that kicks off the night’s action and activities. There are plenty of pulse-raiding activities planned for the younger fans, as well as a number of inflatables to jump around in and crawl all over. There will be vendor booths in the side areas carrying a large selection of racing merchandise, as well as other products.

The 4-H Clubs will be manning the concession stand during the evening with an assortment of great food and beverages. Alcohol can be purchased by people of age at the Finish Line Restaurant, although Photo ID may be requested. While at the track, guests should be sure to check out the locally-made energy drinks by the Warriors and ask the drivers for their autograph.

Admission is the price entry to the Princeton Speedway. The event will be happening this Friday, July 19, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Princeton Speedway located at 400 3rd Street South in Princeton, Minnesota. To learn more about this event, please visit the Princeton Speedway website or call its office at 763-389-3135.
